Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, the company recently expanded beyond the US with offices in Europe and most recently, Asia. Facing the challenge of being a relatively unknown player in Asia Pacific, the company was looking to build brand awareness amongst key stakeholders in APAC, particularly in the Government, Healthcare and Education sectors. The Approach: To create buzz and highlight Malwarebytes key USPs against competitors, the team pulled together a Malwarebytes branded media luncheon targeted at senior journalists and analysts to announce the launch of operations in APAC as well as to highlight the companies latest research in the malware space. A customized press release tailored to garner interest from press and other stakeholders was drafted and unveiled at the media luncheon to drive high level conversations on the cyber security landscape in the region.
